Kolula Pushta Road, House 43, Kabul, Afghanistan
Serving you since Feb. 2005
Diagnosing autoimmune diseases was previously only available in specialized hospitals and laboratories abroad.
Due to the lack of specialized diagnostic facilities in Afghanistan, many autoimmune diseases are overlooked or misdiagnosed.

The DK-German Medical Center is proud to offer innovative test systems and high-quality products from HUMAN Diagnostic for a reliable diagnosis of autoimmune diseases.
The tests are produced by a team of highly specialized and dedicated scientists at the HUMAN Competence Center for Research and Development in Magdeburg / Germany.

We are happy to announce the diagnostic availability of some major autoimmune disorders like:
-
Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE)
-
Rheumatoid Arthritis

An autoimmune disease is a condition in which your immune system mistakenly attacks your own body cells.
The immune system normally guards against germs like bacteria & viruses. When it senses these foreign invaders, it sends out an army of fighter cells to attack them.
In an autoimmune disease, the immune system mistakes part of your body, like your joints or skin, as foreign. It releases auto-antibodies that attack healthy cells.
There are more than 100 types of autoimmune diseases known.
Some autoimmune diseases target only one organ. Type 1 diabetes damages the pancreas. Other diseases, like systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), affect the whole body.
Examples of autoimmune diseases include systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjogren syndrome, Hashimoto thyroiditis, rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile (type 1) diabetes, polymyositis, scleroderma, pernicious anaemia, glomerulonephritis, and pulmonary fibrosis.
