History: Experience...
The DK - German Medical Center Ltd. was established in order to provide high quality diagnostics and medical care to patients at a time when there were no private healthcare facilities available in Afghanistan.
Our facility was conceived on July 30th, 2004, with the association of two former Malteser International development aid workers from the Federal Republic of Germany who had previously set up the German Malteser Hospital in the Kabul Police Academy.
The DK - German Medical Center Ltd. officially opened for business on February 14th, 2005 and has been operating continuously since. It is duly registered with all relevant organs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. The DK - German Medical Diagnostic Center Ltd. works under and respects the provision of the constitution of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
From the very beginning all of our diagnostic materials, medical equipment and pharmaceuticals have been imported from Germany and German physicians employed.
Despite the emergence of a vast number of other private healthcare providers in Kabul and the provinces since, the DK - German Medical Center Ltd. remains the reference standard for private medical diagnostics in Afghanistan.

At the DK - German Medical Center Ltd. we employ German and European physicians and dentists and have visiting physicians from other European countries throughout the year. We perform all of our work to German and international quality standards using only German-made medical devices, equipment, diagnostic reagents, X-ray films and pharmaceuticals.
Our medical staff are highly experienced, competent and qualified. They will perform diagnostics in function of the needs of our valued patients. We strongly believe in only performing medically indicated diagnostics and therapeutics.
Throughout the years that the DK - German Medical Center Ltd. has been operating we have continuously expanded our facility to expand the range of services available to our valued customers whilst striving to keep the costs as low as economically possible.
