History of DK:

Following two years' experience in establishing the German Malteser Hospital (GMH) in the Police Academy, Kabul, two Malteser
development aid workers established the DK-German Medical Diagnostic Center, the first private international (German) healthcare center in Afghanistan.

Formation of DK:

The DK Medical Diagnostic Center was founded in Kabul on the 30. July 2004.

Patients and clienteles of DK:

Associates of NGOs (non governmental organizations) and GO’s (governmental organizations), international employees of embassies, personal of the United Nations, civil and public servants as well as private patients assigned to DK by external doctors.

Summary:

The DK German Medical Center is a German - Afghan establishment which respects the constitution of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
